New York Restoration Project

NYRP creates and enriches green open space in under-served communities to improve their health, safety, economic well-being, educational outcomes, and environment. Founded in 1995, our unique approach combines 1) working on land we own (52 gardens), 2) working on land owned by others (e.g., city parks and housing), 3) completing projects swiftly using in-house design and operations staff, 4) operating at multiple scales from site to neighborhood to citywide and 5) incorporating community input.
