YWCA of Salt Lake City UT

Founded in 1906, YWCA of Salt Lake City offers safety, shelter, recreation and opportunity to our local community. The YWCA is a women's membership movement nourished by its roots in the Christian faith and sustained by the richness of many beliefs and values. The YWCA of Salt Lake City serves more than 12,000 local women and children annually who are victims of domestic violence, pregnant and parenting adolescent girls, homeless women and women from the community at large. Through its programs, the YWCA addresses a variety of basic, immediate needs for safety, shelter, food, and clothing, as well as longer term needs such as affordable housing, quality child care, economic empowerment, emotional health, and physical well-being.
