Usher's New Look GA

Since 1999, New Look has trained over 16,000 youth as leaders and boasts 100% graduation rates for all youth involved in its programs. When Usher Raymond IV founded New Look, he and his mother researched issues that youth face by listening to proceedings at the local juvenile court. Seeing a gap in positive role models and the inability of many youth too see beyond their current circumstance, he created New Look to give kids a "new look" on life. New Look develops global youth leaders by way of Access, Awareness and Empowerment. Through a peer-to-peer curriculum, which begins in the 8th grade and extends through college, youth are taught the importance of identifying their talents, pursuing an education and career path and ultimately leading by giving back to their communities.
