SPCA of Texas TX

Founded in 1938, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Texas is dedicated to providing every animal exceptional care and a loving home. The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and two spay/neuter clinics located in Dallas and in McKinney, and serves as an active resource center providing an array of programs and services that bring people and animals together to enrich each others' lives. On February 1, 2006, by mandate of the SPCA's board of directors, the SPCA of Texas officially began functioning as a Reservation Required shelter, meaning that it will no longer euthanize animals for lack of space.
