Project GRAD Houston TX

Project GRAD Houston (Graduation Really Achieves Dreams) is an education reform model serving 132,000 economically disadvantaged youth in 211 schools across the nation. Today, Project GRAD Houston is at work in five feeder patterns of Houston ISD, serving 66 schools and over 45,000 children - 23% of the school district's total school population and approximately 24% of its total at-risk population. The Project GRAD Houston Scholarship Program provides financial assistance toward a college education to eligible seniors of in Houston, Texas. Project GRAD serves as a steward of the reform, ensuring both continuity and accountability. Directed by civic, business, and education leaders as well as parents, GRAD has become the basis of a lasting constituency for a quality public education and college access.
