National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts FL

Founded in 1981, the mission of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) is to identify emerging artists and assist them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development, and to raise the appreciation for, and support of, the arts in American society. The artists come from a range of disciplines in the performing, visual, and literary arts: classical music, jazz and popular music, voice, dance, film and video, photography, theater, visual arts, and writing. NFAA's youngARTS program provides support, education, and recognition to high school senior-aged artists at a critical time in their emerging careers.
