Kent School is an independent co-educational boarding school for grades 9-12. The school sits on an idyllic hillside between the Appalachian Trail and the Housatonic River in Northwestern Connecticut. Our strong college preparatory curriculum provides a classic liberal arts education in a technology-rich environment supplemented by an inviting and varied arts program, a vigorous and successful athletic program and a diverse mix of clubs, activities and leadership opportunities. Our student body consists of 565 students from 32 states and 30 foreign countries. Average class size is 12 students, with a student faculty ratio of 8:1.
