Keep Indianapolis Beautiful IN
The mission of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is to unite people to build community and to transform public spaces through aesthetic and environmental improvement. Each year, approximately 45,000 volunteers dig in together on more than 500 community improvement projects. These projects include tree plantings, pocket parks, outdoor classrooms, litter clean ups, recycling, and greenspace enhancements. Founded in 1976 as a city agency, the organization became a nonprofit in 1981. Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) is an award-winning affiliate of the national nonprofit, Keep America Beautiful.
