Atlanta Botanical Garden GA

Founded in 1976, the Atlanta Botanical Garden develops and maintains plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. In fiscal year 2007, the Garden had over 14,700 members and over 108,000 paid guests. During the year, the garden continued various events, including a lecture series to promote horticultural knowledge and awareness, an after school program, and a camp conducted to bring environmental knowledge to children. We also continued our work to save rare and endangered species and to investigate methods of tissue culture and plant propagation.
