Animal Humane New Mexico NM

The mission of Animal Humane New Mexico is to improve the lives of companion animals through sheltering, adoption, community education, providing quality veterinary services to families in need and programs that reduce pet overpopulation. In 2010, they successfully adopted 100% of the healthy pets in their care by placing 4,810 pets into loving, forever homes. Their expert medical team sterilized over 10,000 pets at their donor-subsidized veterinary clinic and conducted over 5,300 veterinary appointments for low-income pet owners. Animal Humane nurtured 1,300 kittens, puppies, cats and dogs through their life-saving Foster Care program and saved 860 homeless pets through Project Fetch-a program that transfers pets from 25 shelters statewide to their Virginia Street campus.
