Richmond Wildlife Center VA

Founded in October 2010 with a Grand Opening in April 2013, the Richmond Wildlife Center is a program of Animal Services of Richmond, Inc., and is the first and only professional wildlife medical center in the Greater Richmond region. The non-profit facility provides veterinary and rehabilitative care to sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife from admission to release of the animal that has responded successfully to treatment. In addition to our wildlife program, the Richmond Wildlife Center rescues and provides veterinary care to non-native, exotic companion animals who find themselves injured, abandoned and/or feral in the wild. After nursing such animals back to health, we are able to find them an adoptive family or relocate them to an appropriate facility based on species requirements and current state laws.
