Charlie Batch Pittsburgh Steelers supporting... Best of the Batch Foundation
Founded in memory of his sister, who was killed in crossfire of gang violence.
Charlie Batch created the Best of the Batch Foundation, in memory of his sister killed in gang crossfire. Today, the foundation gives more than 3,300 kids annually a safe place to go, with year-long reading/computer literacy programs, summer basketball leagues focused on life skills, Batchpacks for Kids school supplies, and more. He also serves on boards such as the Strong Women Strong Girls National Advisory Board and Urban League of Greater Pgh. In 2013, he won the NFL Man of the Year Award.
