A 3-time Pro Bowl and 3-time All Pro selection, Marcus Stroud proved he could withstand the test of time in the NFL. This 10-year NFL veteran was the 13th overall pick in the 2001 draft. Marcus was considered by many experts to be the finest draft for defensive tackles in draft history.
A man of many interests and talents, Marcus has made a commitment to give back to the community. In 2007, the Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation was established to assist under-privileged youth in low-income, single parent homes. Marcus saw a societal need for a foundation which not only supports disadvantaged children but also encourages their wholesome development. The mission of his foundation is to foster support by enhancing and enriching the lives of children by establishing various academic and athletic programs otherwise unavailable to them. Marcus strives to be that “agent of change” and hosts a youth camp every year to battle childhood obesity.
He is also a partner in Shoe Vending International, the exclusive distributor of the ESON Design Partners rollable shoe vending machine and other custom branded rollable shoe machines. Their vending machines sell fashionable, emergency ballet-style flats to ease women’s soles after hours in heels. Their signature product is the Flat Out of Heels rollable shoe machine found in Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and nightclubs across the country.
An elite athlete, successful entrepreneur and philanthropist, Marcus will continue to make as big of an impact off the field as he did on the field.
